Thomas “Tommy” Earl Rezentes, 85 of Hilo, died Nov. 13, 2022 at Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired tractor mower operator for the state DOE, worked at Ming’s Jewelry before opening his own jewelry business; and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Visitation 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Dec. 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo; Mass to follow at 9:30 a.m. Graveside Service at Homelani Memorial Park to follow. Casual attire requested. He is survived by wife, Yvonne Rezentes of Hilo; son, Bradley (Shari) Rezentes of Hilo; daughter, Monica Delostrio (Michael Ortiz) of Glenwood, Hawaii; sister, Velma Felix of Hilo; three grand-daughters and four great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren. Lance Takao Okimoto, 72, of Papaikou, died Nov. 14, 2022, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Onomea, he was retired from the State Department of Human Services.
